Narendra Gupta is our Mechanical Advisor at KnightHawk Engineering, with over 15+ years of experience in design troubleshooting and failure analysis on static/rotating equipment using various simulation tools such as piping analysis in CAESAR, pressure vessel code analysis in PV Elite, high end static, dynamic, thermal, fatigue and vibration analysis using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software such as ABAQUS and ANSYS. He is experienced with ASME, API, and several other industry codes, and his wide range of skills include design, development, modeling, and analyses of various types of static and rotating equipment. Executing finite element analyses involves multidisciplinary skills & Multiphysics, coupled with thermal structural analysis and code evaluations of various mechanical components, pressure vessels, storage tanks and piping systems within the oil & gas, chemical, petrochemical, power, and energy industries. Prior to joining KnightHawk he worked for Siemens Energy Inc. as the FE & Vibration Analyst for the rotor dynamic group of Generator Engineering. Narendra earned his master’s degree in Design Engineering from BITS-PILANI in 2006 from one of the most renowned engineering institutes in India.
